Job summary

IDOM is seeking a Mechanical engineer to work on high-performance optical and mechatronic systems for astronomy, space, and physics. You will join AIV teams spanning development to verification across ground-based telescopes and space cameras.

The role offers a path toward partnership within a flexible, multicultural, and collaborative environment, with opportunities to contribute on national and international projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering with a specialization in mechanical engineering, industrial automation, aerospace engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-performance optical and mechatronic systems for astronomy, space, fusion, and particle physics.
• Join development, manufacturing control, assembly, integration and verification (AIV) teams for ground-based telescopes and space-based cameras.
• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary, international project environment and pursue a long-term career path.
