Nordex Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the Machinery & Components team in Madrid. You will design glass reinforced plastic materials and manage related manufacturing processes, using CAD and PLM tools (Siemens NX/Teamcenter preferred).

The role requires a degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years in the wind power sector, along with Fluent English and willingness to travel. You will work in an international, multicultural environment and contribute to

Responsabilidades

• Design of glass reinforced plastic materials and manufacturing processes.
• Utilize CAD and PLM tools, with Siemens NX/Teamcenter preferred.
• Apply DG&T dimensioning in design work.
• Leverage knowledge of wind turbines and wind energy industry.
• Address manufacturing issues and drive quality improvements.
• Support Sourcing and Quality during supplier homologation.
• Collaborate in an international, multicultural team.

Your Tasks

As part of our growth, we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer for our Machinery & Components team. In this role, you will perform the following tasks:

• Deep knowledge in design of glass reinforced plastic materials and manufacturing processes
• Deep knowledge in CAD and PLM tools, Siemens NX/Teamcenter preferred
• Use and good understanding of DG&T dimensioning
• Knowledge of wind turbines and/or the wind energy industry is an advantage
• Solving manufacturing issues, improvement actions and quality topics
• Support Sourcing and Quality Departments during homologation of different suppliers
• Capable of working on an international and multicultural team

Your Profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering*
• +5 years preferred experience in the wind power industry
• Experience on the design of glass reinforced plastic materials and manufacturing processes
• Fluent English language skills required
• Availability to travel
• For foreign qualifications, recognition as the corresponding Spanish degree equivalency is required when applying.
