Job summary

Arup in Madrid is seeking a Mechanical BIM Modeller to develop and maintain BIM models for HVAC and related systems using Autodesk Revit, producing drawings and technical deliverables, and coordinating with architecture and structures.

The role requires a degree in Engineering or a related field, 2–3 years of BIM modelling experience, strong Revit skills, and at least intermediate English. Experience with Forma, ACC, BIM360, Navisworks or Solibri is valued.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Architectural Technology, Higher Technical Qualification, or equivalent related to construction, engineering, or digital design.
• 2-3 years’ experience in Structural BIM Modelling.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit for building services projects.
• Intermediate or higher level of English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BIM models using Autodesk Revit for HVAC, ventilation, cooling, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems.
• Produce drawings, sections, schematics, schedules, and technical documentation derived from BIM models.
• Coordinate mechanical models with architecture, structures and other disciplines.
• Ensure quality, consistency, and accuracy of BIM models.
• Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings and quality control processes.
• Contribute to BIM libraries and families.
• Utilize automation tools and digital workflows across projects.
