Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe (Madrid) seeks a Materiel Solutions and IP Engineer to join the Materiel Solutions & Services Team. You will contribute to spares planning, logistics, and contract development for Initial Provisioning and Customized Spares Logistics across major defense programs like Eurodrone.

The role requires an aeronautical/industrial engineering background, 2–5 years of relevant experience, advanced English, and strong Excel skills.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in Eurodrone supplier selection and analyze material services contributions.
• Develop IPL and RSPL using aircraft configuration systems knowledge.
• Represent Airbus Defence and Space with the Customer during Initial Provisioning milestones.
• Generate technical and operational docs to support Material Solution definitions.
• Coordinate material services across internal teams, partners, suppliers, and nations.
• Consolidate data, cost bases, and assumptions to build accurate bidding dossiers.

Job Description

An opportunity for a Materiel Solutions and IP Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid). The selected candidate will join the Materiel Solutions & Services Team. The department is responsible for researching and analyzing spares planning and logistics data to convert findings into high-value contracts for Initial Provisioning, Customized Spares Logistics, and Customized Lead-Time. In this role, you will support customer process improvements and define robust material solutions across major defense programs, including Eurodrone.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in Eurodrone supplier selection, analyzing material services contributions and part requirements.
• Develop customized spare parts lists (IPL and RSPL) using aircraft configuration systems knowledge to meet Customer and ADS requirements.
• Represent Airbus Defence and Space directly in front of the Customer during Initial Provisioning milestones.
• Generate comprehensive technical and operational documentation to support overall Material Solution definitions.
• Align all Materiel Services functional and performance aspects across internal Airbus teams, Partner Companies, Suppliers, and Nations.
• Consolidate integrated data, cost bases, and assumptions to build precise Bidding Dossiers and enhance Spares Modelling accuracy.

SKILLS

• Education: Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
• Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in MRO, engineering design, or manufacturing.
• Soft skills: High adaptability to work on new topics, emerging business needs, and in a collaborative networking mode.
• Languages: Advanced level in English (written and spoken).
• Technical knowledge: Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance, technical manuals, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Valuable / Nice to have: Experience with spares dimensioning tools and prior knowledge of Airbus Defence & Space products.
