Gracia101 is currently seeking a Material Planner – Perfumery Specialist with 2 years of experience to join the team on a permanent basis in the Barcelona area. The role ensures reliable raw material availability across the region and optimizes inventory, service, and working capital.

Key collaboration spans Perfumery, Procurement, Manufacturing, and suppliers to manage supply risks and enable business growth. Strong emphasis on S&OP, MRP, and planning system discipline will be essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in material, supply, or production planning within a complex manufacturing environment.
• Experience in Perfumery, Flavors, Chemicals, Pharma, or FMCG is preferred.
• Proficiency with ERP and planning systems; SAP and Kinaxis preferred.
• Understanding of demand planning, inventory management, and S&OP processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to manage complexity and make decisions in a dynamic environment.
• Effective stakeholder management and communication across functions and cultures.
• Proactive, structured, and resilient, with strong ownership and accountability.
• Collaborative team player focused on delivering business results.

Responsabilidades

• Convert regional demand forecasts and customer orders into robust raw material supply plans.
• Maintain supply plans aligned with S&OP, MRP, and production requirements.
• Monitor demand and supply variability, proactively mitigating shortages, excess inventory, and service risks.
• Serve as the planning interface for Perfumery Creation, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Customer Operations, Procurement, and suppliers.
• Support new product introductions, reformulations, and material changes from a planning perspective.
• Contribute to S&OP, scenario planning, and supply risk reviews.
• Identify and implement planning process improvements.
• Ensure accurate master data and disciplined use of planning systems and processes.

Purpose of the Role

The Material Planner - Perfumery ensures reliable raw material availability across the region while optimizing inventory, service, and working capital. The role partners with Perfumery, Procurement, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and suppliers to manage supply risks, support innovation, and enable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Supply Management

• Convert regional demand forecasts and customer orders into robust raw material supply plans.
• Maintain supply plans aligned with S&OP, MRP, and production requirements.
• Monitor demand and supply variability, proactively mitigating shortages, excess inventory, and service risks.

Inventory & Risk Management

• Optimize inventory in line with service, working capital, and shelf-life objectives.
• Manage safety stocks, lead times, MOQ constraints, and allocation rules.
• Drive actions to reduce obsolete, slow-moving, and expired inventory.

Stakeholder & Business Partnership

• Serve as the planning interface for Perfumery Creation, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Customer Operations, Procurement, and suppliers.
