Confidential employer in Palma, Mallorca, is seeking an experienced marine sewer to join the production team. You will manufacture, fit, and repair custom marine textile components for boats, working on-site in Palma.

Role requires hands-on experience with marine sewing, pattern making, and heavy-duty fabrics. You will follow precise measurements and work closely with the upholstery and production teams to ensure high-quality results on a 10-month contract with a defined start date.

Qualifications

• At least 24 months of documented professional experience as a sewer in the nautical sector.
• Competence in operating industrial sewing machines and handling heavy-duty technical materials.
• Solid understanding of pattern making, fabric cutting, and marine upholstery assembly.
• Strong teamwork, attention to detail and quality awareness.
• No formal academic degree required; practical skills and sectoral expertise count.

Responsabilités

• Take accurate measurements and prepare patterns; cut fabrics to job specs.
• Manufacture and assemble boat cushions, upholstery, and marine interior elements.
• Sew and repair boat awnings, sprayhoods, biminis, covers and tarpaulins.
• Operate industrial sewing machines; work with heavy-duty technical fabrics.
• Collaborate with upholstery and production teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Maintain and clean tools and workspace.
