Job Description:

Manager, Due Diligence Delivery

Role type: People Manager

Span of control:About 4 FTEs

Location: Barcelona, Princeton, Singapore

Reports to: Director, Delivery, R&C Adverse Media

You Will

  • Lead a team of Delivery Managers across different time zones to ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions to clients.

  • Define and oversee implementation of workflows for the Due Diligence team (including effective mailbox policies), aligning delivery processes with global product standards.

  • Develop methodologies and processes relating to report delivery and client/sales communication that enables quality service and products across regions.

  • Provide regular and transparent communication of team objectives and goals.

  • Hire, supervise, support, and develop a team to maximize potential through motivation, coaching, counseling, and delegation.

  • Be a key representative of the Due Diligence team in dealings with clients, particularly strategic clients, working with partners in Sales and Product

  • Perform testing of new or enhanced system and product functionality

  • Assist in determining the best research/quality team representatives to liaise with clients

  • Help in the planning of research resources for report assignments and for any large ad hoc projects together with the Due Diligence Management team

  • Assist in scoping and managing potential ad-hoc projects outside the usual DD scope

  • Contribute to the creation, maintenance and testing of guidelines, data and tools that will support the team

  • Have an automation mindset by initiating and driving change to existing team workflows and methodologies to create efficiencies and quality improvements with shared benefits across the global team.

  • Support training of future members of staff

  • Ensure that the team members strictly adhere to the Dow Jones’ and client’s policies & procedures.

  • Write and proofread Due Diligence reports when required

  • Support R&C with translation services as and when required

You Have

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with senior management as well as team members and peer groups

  • People management skills

  • A professional attitude in client facing environment

  • Ability to work in a high pressure environment with strict deadlines

  • Current news awareness and solid news judgment

  • Strong customer focus

Preferred

  • Previous people management experience

  • Relevant experience in Third-Party Due Diligence is required

  • Automation, data visualization skills are a plus
