Proactive Global is seeking an Industrial Electrician / Maintenance Technician for a Belgium-based manufacturing environment. The role combines electrical, mechanical, and electronic maintenance to keep production equipment safe, reliable, and efficient.

You will install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical systems, supporting continuous improvement and operational efficiency while working across different areas of the facility and adhering to safety procedures.

Formación

• Valid electrician qualification/licence or equivalent recognised electrical qualification.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and electronic aptitude.
• Previous experience in industrial electrical or mechanical maintenance.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsabilidades

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and industrial equipment.
• Carry out general and preventive mechanical maintenance within the facility.
• Identify and resolve electrical, mechanical, and electronic issues.
• Maintain compliance with safety, operational, and maintenance procedures.
• Work across different areas of the facility as required.
• Use appropriate PPE and follow safety requirements.
• Ensure tools and equipment are transported and used properly.
• Complete maintenance documentation and service reports accurately.
• Work independently when required while communicating with the wider team.
• Be flexible regarding working hours, including occasional extended hours or different shifts.

We are looking for an Industrial Electrician / Maintenance Technician to join a manufacturing environment in Belgium. The role combines electrical, mechanical, and electronic maintenance, with a strong focus on keeping production equipment safe, reliable, and efficient. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems and equipment, while supporting continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and industrial equipment.
• Carry out general and preventive mechanical maintenance within the facility.
• Identify and resolve electrical, mechanical, and electronic issues.
• Maintain compliance with safety, operational, and maintenance procedures.
• Work across different areas of the facility as required.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety requirements.
• Ensure tools and equipment are properly transported and used for maintenance tasks.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment during and after maintenance activities.
• Complete maintenance documentation and service reports accurately.
• Work independently when required while maintaining effective communication with the wider team.
• Be flexible regarding working hours, including occasional extended hours or different shifts.

Requirements

• Valid electrician qualification/licence or equivalent recognised electrical qualification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Around 4 years of experience in an electrical, mechanical, or industrial maintenance environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Technical diploma or certificate in Industrial Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience with industrial production or automated equipment.
• Interest in developing further expertise in electrical and electronic systems.
