Job summary

Yugo is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily maintenance operations across our student housing properties. You’ll supervise the team, coordinate work orders, inspect units and common areas, and manage vendors to ensure safety and top-notch upkeep.

You will report to the Regional Facilities Manager and help maintain safe, clean environments that support vibrant resident life while controlling costs and ensuring compliance with all regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience including HVAC, plumbing and electrical.
• 1+ year supervisory experience in residential properties or related operations.
• EPA Type II certification and, if local regulation requires, pool maintenance certification.
• Strong communication, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with technology and online systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily maintenance operations for the property, including building systems, grounds and resident spaces.
• Lead and support the maintenance team to complete work orders and preventive tasks on time.
• Inspect apartments, common areas and equipment to maintain safety and standards.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracted services, supply orders and inventory control.
• Develop maintenance schedules and monitor productivity, labor costs and operations.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in on-call or after-hours support.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA guidelines and company policies.
