Job summary

BNB Bank is seeking a Workday-focused consultant to join a multicultural IT team delivering cloud-based transformation projects across Europe and Latin America. The role welcomes ENTRY LEVELS and EXPERIENCED professionals, with Madrid as work location.

You will run requirements analysis, configuration, workshops, and client management, ensuring best practices and successful deployments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting and Finance/Business Administration.
• Understanding of business processes and financial statements (BS, P/L, Cash Flow).
• Awareness of how technology changes business operations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation and consultative skills.
• Analytical and creative problem solving.
• Keen to learn and work in a team.
• English fluency; Spanish or French a plus.
• Work location: Madrid; travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements, configure the Workday solution, prototype systems, and assist testing.
• Lead sessions to analyse requirements in finance areas (Accounting, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Banking).
• Design, prototype, configure, test and deliver the Workday platform with customer focus.
• Demonstrate configurations via prototypes to gain acceptance.
• Submit status reports to Engagement Manager and update project status.
• Provide SME on key business processes and decisions.
• Support Workday operations with monitoring, metrics, and data standards.
• Participate in Workday Community, share ideas, and collaborate.
• Ensure client uses Workday best practices.
• Apply Workday Implementation Methodology on engagements.

This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of the transformation to Cloud-based services. This role will require your requirements analysis skills, workshop facilitation, customer management and product configuration.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform the following on an engagement understand client business requirements, configure the Workday solution, demonstrate the configurations through the development of prototype systems, and assist the client in testing the Workday solution.
• Conduct working sessions in large and medium global/local organizations to analyze business requirements for various financial functional areas (Accounting, Procurement-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Banking and Settlements, Business Assets and Financial Reporting).
• Design, prototype, configure, test and deliver the Workday platform and represent the “voice of the customer” - keeping the needs of the finance end users, people managers and business leaders at the center of all Workday design and deployment decisions.
• Demonstrate the configurations through the iterative development of prototypes to gain customer acceptance of the business processes.
• Complete the work assigned to you by the Engagement Manager with status reports and keep them apprised of the overall project status.
• Provide subject matter expertise regarding key business process decisions related to industry and/or functional areas.
• Support Workday Operations by suggesting monitoring and recommending ways to better utilize Workday, proactively identify and create metrics to drive operational improvements and institute and enforce data and process standards.
• Actively participate in the Workday Community contributing expertise, requesting enhancements, sharing ideas, collaborating with other customers, and participating in user groups.
• Ensure the client takes advantage of Workday best practices.
• Understand Workday’s Implementation Methodology and use it on all engagements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting and Finance/Business Administration (MBA desirable)
• Good understanding of the enterprise’s business processes and financial statements (B/S, P&L and Cash Flow).
• Good understanding of how technology is changing and appreciation of its power to revolutionize the way organizations work and behave. Eager to try and challenge yourself with new things.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation and consultative skills.
• Ability to work creatively and analytically, prioritizing problem-solving.
• Constant desire to acquire knowledge.
• Enthusiasm for teamwork.
• Passionate about client service excellence.
• Fluent language skills in English ( Spanish or French is a plus! )
• Work location: Madrid. Available to travel when needed.
