BNB - Business Network Builders in Madrid seeks a versatile Workday Consultant, open to entry levels and experienced professionals, to drive requirements analysis, configuration, and client engagement.

You will lead workshops across finance functions, prototype configurations, and guide clients through testing and deployment while aligning with Workday best practices.

Formación

• Experience with Workday is beneficial, including requirements analysis and configuration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills are required.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; French is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Understand client business requirements and configure the Workday solution.
• Lead workshops to analyze financial functional areas (Accounting, Procure-to-Pay, etc.).
• Design, prototype, configure, test, and deliver Workday platforms.
• Demonstrate configurations via prototypes to gain client acceptance.
• Provide status reports to the Engagement Manager and track project progress.
• Offer SME guidance on key business process decisions for industry/functional areas.
• Support Workday operations by monitoring and improving data/process standards.
• Engage with Workday Community by sharing insights and collaborating with customers.
• Ensure clients leverage Workday best practices and adhere to implementation methodology.

This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of the transformation to Cloud-based services. This role will require your requirements analysis skills, workshop facilitation, customer management and product configuration.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform the following on an engagement understand client business requirements, configure the Workday solution, demonstrate the configurations through the development of prototype systems, and assist the client in testing the Workday solution.
• Conduct working sessions in large and medium global/local organizations to analyze business requirements for various financial functional areas (Accounting, Procurement-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Banking and Settlements, Business Assets and Financial Reporting).
• Design, prototype, configure, test and deliver the Workday platform and represent the “voice of the customer” - keeping the needs of the finance end users, people managers and business leaders at the center of all Workday design and deployment decisions.
• Demonstrate the configurations through the iterative development of prototypes to gain customer acceptance of the business processes.
• Complete the work assigned to you by the Engagement Manager with status reports and keep them apprised of the overall project status.
• Provide subject matter expertise regarding key business process decisions related to industry and/or functional areas.
• Support Workday Operations by suggesting monitoring and recommending ways to better utilize Workday, proactively identify and create metrics to drive operational improvements and institute and enforce data and process standards.
• Actively participate in the Workday Community contributing expertise, requesting enhancements, sharing ideas, collaborating with other customers, and participating in user groups.
• Ensure the client takes advantage of Workday best practices.
• Understand Workday’s Implementation Methodology and use it on all engagements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting and Finance/Business Administration (MBA desirable)
• Good understanding of the enterprise's business processes and financial statements (B/S, P&L and Cash Flow).
• Good understanding of how technology is changing and appreciation of its power to revolutionize the way organizations work and behave. Eager to try and challenge yourself with new things.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation and consultative skills.
• Ability to work creatively and analytically, prioritizing problem-solving.
• Constant desire to acquire knowledge.
• Enthusiasm for teamwork.
• Passionate about client service excellence.
• Fluent language skills in English and Spanish (French is a plus!)
• Work location: Madrid. Available to travel when needed.
