Job summary

Gibson Dunn seeks an experienced Accountant to support day-to-day accounting and finance for our Madrid office. You will work closely with the Finance Department on monthly reporting, local bookkeeping, tax filings, and payroll management at a foundational stage to establish local processes and systems in a leading global law firm.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience in a finance role within a law firm or professional services.
• Degree or professional qualification in accounting, finance or economics preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Spanish accounting, tax, payroll and Social Security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Billing, payments, receipts, journal entries, and related workflow management.
• Maintain books and records per Firm policy.
• Perform monthly close with expense estimates, accruals, and reconciliations.
