Smadex, a leading ad-tech company based in Barcelona, seeks ambitious Machine Learning Interns to learn cutting-edge ML and contribute to a world-class DSP. You will work with Python, SQL and cloud data, building algorithms and analyzing large datasets in a fast-paced team environment.

You’ll join a highly motivated, international group, with a strong emphasis on learning through projects, hands-on experience with ML tools, and exposure to global app publishers.

Formación

• Experience in Python, SQL and data warehousing.
• Experience developing algorithms and managing datasets preferably from the cloud.
• Hands-on experience using deep learning libraries is also nice to have.
• Problem solving oriented mentality and a very proactive approach
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and sense of accountability
• Detail-oriented, well organized, and able to multi-task in a results-oriented business environment
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; Fluency in English is a must

We are looking for ambitious Machine Learning Interns whose ultimate motivation is to learn the most advanced technologies used in the ad-tech industry by the likes of Google and Facebook and to help us become the biggest mobile programmatic advertising platform in the world.

What you need to have:

• Experience in Python, SQL and data warehousing
• Experience developing algorithms and managing datasets preferably from the cloud.
• Hands-on experience using deep learning libraries is also nice to have.
• Problem solving oriented mentality and a very proactive approach
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and sense of accountability
• Detail-oriented, well organized, and able to multi-task in a results-oriented business environment
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Fluency in English is a must

Extra points for :-)

• Master’s degree in Machine Learning, AI, Statistics, Applied mathematics, Computer Science
• Experience with reporting and data visualization tools such as Jupyter Notebook, Zeppelin, Tableau, Periscope, PowerBI or others.
• Familiarity with AWS services such as EMR, EC2, Athena, S3, Redshift
• Used to Linux environments.
