Time is Brain, SL in Barcelona is seeking an experienced Senior ML Engineer to bridge cutting-edge neuroscience ML research and production medical technology. You will wrap, optimize and deploy models on BraiN20 and AWS.

Join a multidisciplinary R&D team and mentor peers while delivering robust, scalable software that meets medical standards and regulatory requirements for medical devices.

Responsabilidades

• Wrap, modularize, and optimize machine learning models for deployment on medical devices and AWS cloud environments.
• Applied Machine Learning Research: Keep up with the state-of-the-art in machine learning and do research to apply it to our use cases.
• Collaborate & Mentor: Partner closely with a researcher in neuroscience, providing code reviews, architectural guidance, and engineering mentorship.
• Productionize Code: Clean, refactor, and elevate Python functionalities into production-ready, highly maintainable, and well-tested codebases.
• Infrastructure & Pipeline Design: Build reliable CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies that meet the rigorous standards required for medical software

About Time is Brain

Time is Brain is a technology-based spin-off of the Fundació d'Investigació en Ciències de la Salut Germans Trias i Pujol (IGTP), founded in 2020 to develop BraiN20®, a portable medical device that aims to transform stroke diagnosis and prognosis by automatically monitoring brain electrical activity in real time.

We are looking for an experienced Senior ML Engineer to join our multidisciplinary R&D team and contribute to the next generation of BraiN20®. You will work in a multidisciplinary team and very closely with a researcher specializing in machine learning for neuroscience.

Position Overview

The primary responsibility of this position is to bridge the gap between cutting-edge machine learning research in neuroscience and production-ready medical technology. In this role, you will play a critical part in wrapping, optimizing and deploying machine learning models onto both physical medical devices and AWS cloud infrastructure.
