Preply is seeking an experienced M&A Senior Manager to lead deal sourcing, financial modelling, and rigorous due diligence. You will shape Preply's growth trajectory by building an acquisition pipeline and delivering board-ready strategic recommendations.

You will work closely with Finance, Legal, Product, and HR, coordinating across functions to close strategic opportunities and drive post-merger integration where relevant.

Formación

• 7–10 years of M&A experience in-house at a tech company or in investment banking/PE.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; built complex valuation models from scratch and can defend every assumption.
• Experience end-to-end acquisitions; post-merger integration experience is a plus.
• Strong P&L literacy and analytical rigour; able to thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills; translate complex analyses into executive-level narratives.
• Ideally with prior experience in EdTech, SaaS, or high-growth tech.

Responsabilidades

• Define M&A strategy and investment thesis — setting criteria for target types, deal size, and strategic fit across growth priorities.
• Build and manage acquisition pipeline — identifying targets, developing theses, and driving processes from screening to close.
• Lead financial modelling and valuation work across deal processes: DCF, accretion/dilution, LBO, P&L impact.
• Conduct end-to-end due diligence across financial, commercial, legal, and operational dimensions; coordinate external advisors.
• Project-manage cross-functional workstreams (Finance, Legal, Product, HR) through deal execution and integration planning.
• Develop board-ready strategic recommendations and executive presentations on M&A opportunities.
