Publicit Global is seeking an engineer for an on-site Barcelona role focused on building high‑performance infrastructure for an omnichannel advertising platform. You will work across Rust and front‑end tech, delivering features in production within short timeframes and collaborating with a senior team to resolve complex architectural challenges.

You do not need prior ad-tech experience; you will learn on the job, read industry specs, and contribute to low-latency, high-throughput systems.

Formación

• 1–2 years of hands-on engineering experience (internships included).
• Built something on your own: side project, open‑source contribution, or shipped project.
• Solid fundamentals in a systems language (Rust, Go, C++, or Java/C#) or can pick up Rust quickly.
• Comfortable with TypeScript and React; good English communication.
• Ability to read specifications and debug from first principles.

Responsabilidades

• Ship across the stack: Rust in auctions, TypeScript/React in product surface.
• Identify and fix performance bottlenecks; optimize latency and throughput.
• Build data pipelines translating billions of events into invoices.
• Implement OpenRTB, VAST, and IAB consent protocol support.
• Own integrations end-to-end with partners; production-ready delivery.
• Instrument systems to ensure observability in production.
