FRAGRANCE SCIENCE, Castellolí (near Igualada, Barcelona), is seeking a Logistics/Export Specialist to support the Logistics Manager in coordinating national and international shipments and ensuring timely delivery of goods to clients. You will prepare export documents and oversee compliance with shipping regulations.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the warehouse, tracking orders, and resolving transport incidents while maintaining cost and accuracy targets in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics/Supply Chain, International Trade or other related fields.
• Excellent English and Spanish is a must. French will be appreciated.
• Knowledge of ADR.
• Working experience (5 years minimum) in logistics operations, both export and import.
• Excellent problem solving and organisational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently and handle multiple projects.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and follow-up of national and international shipments.
• Schedule and track orders’ status daily (collecting, shipment, departure, arrival).
• Prepare drafts of commercial export documents and organize legalization, shipment, and delivery to clients.
• Stay up to date with safety regulations, ensuring compliance with company policies and shipping legislation.
• Provide coordination with the warehouse for order distribution and final revision of weights prior to shipment.

Since 2004 FRAGRANCE SCIENCE has been developing and manufacturing fragrances for their application in products of laundry care, home care, personal care and for fine perfumery. About 90% of our products we export all around the world. We are currently searching for a highly motivated and experienced professional for the role of Logistics/ Export Specialist for our new factory at Castellolí (Igualada, Barcelona).

Role Description

Conduct executive and administrative support to the Logistics/Export Department, under supervision of the Logistics Manager, assuring the effectiveness of logistical practices and correct running of the delivery of goods to the Company and finished Company’s products to our clients, meeting cost, accuracy and timeliness targets.

Coordination and follow-up of national and international shipments. Scheduling and tracking orders’ status daily (dates of collecting, shipment, departure, and arrival), reports on shipment details to the Logistics Manager and to other departments, if required. Trouble-shooting any incidence in transport and informing the client about any updates with their shipment

Coordination with the warehouse, providing the distribution of the order. Final revision of weights and orders prior to the shipment.

Prepare drafts of commercial export documents, organises their appropriate legalization, shipment, and delivery to our clients.

Stay up to date with safety regulations, ensuring compliance with Company’s policies and shipping legislation.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics/Supply Chain, International Trade or other related fields.

Excellent English and Spanish is a must. French will be appreciated.
