UNIOVI invites applications for a First Stage Researcher position focused on advancing energy efficiency and controllability of LED lighting systems through optimized electronic drivers. The role requires a solid background in Industrial Electronics and Automation, plus a Master’s in Mechatronics and hands-on experience with electronic/mechatronic prototyping.

English proficiency at least B1, with B2 or higher preferred, and a track record of research dissemination.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Electronics and Automation Engineering (or equivalent).
• Master’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering is required or strongly preferred.
• Excellent English skills with B1 certification recognized, B2 or higher preferred.
• Experience leading projects and contracts in LED lighting or related electronic systems.
• Publications in indexed journals and conference presentations are desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct research to improve energy efficiency and controllability of lighting systems by optimizing LED drivers.
• Develop, assemble, and test electronic circuits and mechatronic systems for LED applications.
• Disseminate results through publications, presentations, and outreach activities.
