Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • 1+ year in automotive manufacturing, production processes or NPI.
  • Strong knowledge of IATF and VDA standards and FMEA tools.
  • Professional English (B2+) with good communication.

Responsibilities

  • Lead DFM/DFA and DFAA reviews for manufacturability and cost.
  • Own PFMEA development, deployment, and improvements.
  • Govern PFMEA standards and APIS IQ-RM usage.
  • Develop and maintain PFMEA libraries and best practices.
  • Collaborate with engineering, plants, quality, suppliers, and CI teams.
  • Support new project launches and R&D initiatives to industrialize products.
  • Deliver PFMEA training and audits to raise maturity.
  • Promote PFMEA and continuous improvement culture with HSE compliance.

Responsibilities

You drive manufacturability, assembly efficiency, and process risk management across the product lifecycle as part of the EMEA AME Center of Excellence. This role strengthens design-for-manufacturing and assembly standards, leads PFMEA governance, and partners with engineering, plants, and suppliers to enable safe, high-quality, and cost-effective production.

  • Lead DFM/DFA and DFAA reviews to optimize product and process designs for manufacturability, automation, quality, and cost.
  • Own and coordinate PFMEA development, deployment, and continuous improvement, including flow charts and control plans.
  • Govern PFMEA standards and APIS IQ-RM usage to ensure consistency, compliance, and alignment with global FMEA frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain core PFMEA libraries, best practices, and lessons learned to reduce risk and speed up launches.
  • Collaborate with engineering, plants, quality, suppliers, and CI teams to assess design feasibility and define standards.
  • Support new project launches and R&D initiatives to industrialize current and future products.
  • Deliver PFMEA training and perform audits to build organizational capability and FMEA maturity.
  • Promote a strong PFMEA and continuous improvement culture while ensuring HSE compliance in all activities.
Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing, production processes, or new product launches.
  • Working knowledge of IATF and VDA standards, including FMEA, process flow charts, and quality tools.
  • Experience with PFMEA tools and systems, preferably APIS IQ-RM.
  • Professional English proficiency (B2 or higher) with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
