Airbus Defence and Space is seeking a Materials & Processes Engineer in Getafe (Madrid) to join the Materials & Process Department (TADAP3, M&P Development) within the Airframe organization. The role balances high technical expertise in M&P with some managerial responsibilities, supporting composite materials, metals, and surface technologies.

Formación

• Degree in Engineering or Science; Master's degree highly valued.
• 5+ years in materials and processes with test methods knowledge.
• Advanced English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Flexibility, interpersonal skills, ability to find solutions under pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Lead R&D and optimization of composite materials, metals, surface treatments, paints, sealants, elastomeric technologies.
• Develop and manage technical specifications and qualifications for materials and processes for military aircraft and related products.
• Advise design, manufacturing engineering, supply chain and quality on material-related queries and concessions.
• Represent TADAP3 in project meetings and lead development of process specifications and technical notes.
