IFAE invites expressions of interest for the Ramón y Cajal Fellowship Programme in Gravitational-Wave Physics. The fellow will lead research programmes, help develop experimental GW detector capabilities, and pursue funding to secure a permanent position in the Spanish research system.

The ideal candidate has a strong track record in GW astronomy, leadership, and is prepared to contribute to the operation, upgrade of detectors, and strategic R&D for future facilities such as the Einstein

Formación

• Postdoctoral candidate with potential to secure competitive research funding (ERC grants) and leadership in GW physics.
• Experience leading research programs and collaborations in gravitational-wave detector technology.

Responsabilidades

• Define and drive IFAE's experimental programme in gravitational-wave physics.
• Lead operation and upgrade activities for LIGO/Virgo detectors and contribute to the Einstein Telescope roadmap.
