Bystronic Group in Spain is seeking an experienced installation and service technician to prepare, install, commission and test laser cutting and bending equipment at customer sites across Europe. You will lead installations, coordinate teams, and ensure seamless handovers while maintaining strong communication with customers in English and Spanish.

The role requires hands-on work with CNC/PLC systems, electrical components, pneumatics and hydraulics and travel up to 50% to support international

Formación

• Technical apprenticeship or degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years' experience in machine installation, commissioning, maintenance or field service.
• Hands-on experience with CNC/PLC systems, electrical components, pneumatics and hydraulics.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare for installations by reviewing site requirements and technical documentation.
• Install, commission and test machines, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic work.
• Align machines and verify components work together.
• Connect machines with automation systems and test interfaces and material flow.
• Configure CNC/PLC systems and software; perform safety and cutting tests.
• Troubleshoot issues on site and cooperate with specialist support teams.
• Support machine ramp-up and customer handover readiness.
• Lead installations with technicians, subcontractors and local service teams.
• Collaborate with Level 2/3 support when issues cannot be resolved onsite.
