Indra Space – Leading the Next Generation of Space Systems is seeking an Embedded Software Responsible in Madrid to lead embedded software activities and drive the full lifecycle in compliance with space standards. The role requires a strong background in C/C++, Linux environments (PetaLinux), and MBSE with Capella/Enterprise Architect, plus GNSS knowledge and Python skills.

The successful candidate will mentor engineers, collaborate with GNSS teams, and contribute to high-quality documentation

Formación

≥5 years of professional embedded software experience, preferably in space.
Leadership experience of software engineering teams.
Strong C/C++ in embedded environments.
Experience with Linux onboard systems and PetaLinux.
Knowledge of GNSS concepts and signals.
Fluent English communication.

Responsabilidades

Lead and coordinate embedded software activities and mentor engineers.
Drive the full software lifecycle from planning through deployment.
Apply systems engineering best practices across early lifecycle phases.
Design, implement and optimize embedded software for microprocessor-based systems.
Contribute to MBSE activities using Capella and Enterprise Architect.
Ensure compliance with space standards (ESA ECSS) and quality validation processes.
Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams involved in GNSS-based space solutions.
