Fut-ure Recruitment and Technology, on behalf of a global tech client, is seeking a Lead Data Scientist in Barcelona to drive advanced ML initiatives and mentor a team of data scientists.

In this hybrid role, you will lead search and recommendation projects, design data pipelines, and collaborate with product, engineering, and operations to shape marketplace strategies. EU relocation support is available for eligible candidates.

Formación

• 6+ years of Data Scientist experience in a business setting.
• 1+ year leading or mentoring others.
• Degree in a quantitative discipline; MS/PhD valued.
• Strong probability, statistics, and experimental design.
• Experience with search, ranking, and recommendation systems.
• Excellent SQL and Python, with data visualization and big data tech.

Responsabilidades

• Lead large-scale data science projects with product, engineering, and operations.
• Advance search and recommendation algorithms with new features.
• Mentor junior data scientists and ensure high-quality output.
• Analyze marketplace dynamics to deliver actionable insights.
• Build and maintain data pipelines powering models and decision-making.
• Promote ML best practices, monitoring, and evaluation.
• Apply statistics to predict user behavior and causal insights where experiments not possible.
