Schneider Electric busca un Data Engineer líder para diseñar, construir y mantener pipelines de datos escalables en AWS dentro de un entorno híbrido en Barcelona. Trabajarás con equipos de producto, arquitectura y DevOps para entregar plataformas seguras y confiables, apuntando a workloads de IA/ML y buenas prácticas de gobernanza de datos.

Se valorará experiencia con CI/CD, Infraestructura como Código y un enfoque proactivo en un entorno Agile/multi-escala.

Formación

• 5–8 años de experiencia como Data Engineer en entornos AWS.
• Sólida experiencia con servicios AWS: S3, Lambda, IAM, RDS, Glue y Step Functions.
• Experiencia definando y gestionando CI/CD con GitHub Actions e Infraestructura como Código (CloudFormation).
• Dominio de Python o Node.js y prácticas Agile/Scrum.
• Conocimiento de modelado de datos, gobernanza, calidad de datos y metadatos.

Responsabilidades

• Diseñar, construir y mantener pipelines de datos escalables en AWS.
• Desarrollar soluciones de datos nativas en la nube y mantener plataformas de datos seguras.
• Implementar IaC con CloudFormation y mantener pipelines CI/CD con GitHub Actions.
• Colaborar con Data Scientists y equipos de negocio para workloads de IA/ML.
• Dar soporte a operaciones Prod y optimizar rendimiento y fiabilidad.

We are looking for a hands-on Data Engineer with strong AI experience to design, develop, deploy, and support scalable, cloud-native data solutions. This role will work closely with product, architecture, DevOps, and analytics teams to deliver reliable and secure data platforms, while providing post-production support for live systems. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, a proactive mindset, and a passion for building high-quality data solutions in a fast-paced Agile environment.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data platforms using AWS services.
• Develop and manage cloud-native data solutions leveraging services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, RDS, Step Functions, and IAM.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation to ensure repeatable and reliable deployments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions integrated with CloudFormation.
• Write production-grade, maintainable code using Python or Node.js.
• Support post-deployment and production (PROD) operations, including troubleshooting, incident resolution, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, AI Engineers, and business stakeholders to enable scalable and secure AI/ML workloads.
• Work in an Agile delivery model, adapting to evolving business requirements and priorities.
• 5–8 years of experience working as a Data Engineer in AWS-based environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with core AWS services, including: o S3, Lambda, IAM, RDS, Glue, Step Functions
• Proven experience in defining and managing CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions.
• Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably AWS CloudFormation.
• Strong programming skills in Python or Node.js.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery practices.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data governance, data quality, metadata management, and master data concepts.
• Experience working with structured and unstructured data to support AI and analytics use cases.
• Familiarity with data lake architectures, Lakehouse concepts, and modern data platforms.
• Exposure to AI security, responsible AI, and data privacy principles.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including product, architecture, and DevOps.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in large, global, or enterprise environments.
• Exposure to data lakes, streaming, or analytics platforms on AWS.
• Experience building data pipelines to support AI copilots, intelligent assistants, knowledge management, or conversational AI solutions.
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability tools in cloud environments.
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Engineer / Solutions Architect) are a plus.
