Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a senior leader to manage a team responsible for high-quality clinical data review and related safety activities. You will collaborate with Study Physicians and Scientists to deliver consolidated data for safety evaluation, while mentoring staff and driving process improvements across projects.

The role requires an advanced medical/life sciences degree, 3+ years in clinical research or pharmacovigilance, and strong leadership, English communication, and project management skills

Qualifications

• Advanced university degree in a medical/life science field is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in clinical research, pharmacovigilance or safety data review.
• Deep understanding of the clinical study and drug development process and GCP/ICH guidelines; knowledge of SAE reporting requirements.
• Proven project management capabilities; ability to manage change, risks and performance targets; strong time management and multi-tasking in a high-volume environment.
• Strong leadership and line-management experience; ability to lead complex non-drug projects globally.
• Excellent English communication skills in a scientific environment; ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and train junior staff to ensure consistent review of medical/safety data across studies.
• Lead start-up, maintenance and closure activities for studies within the program.
• Ensure high quality clinical data review and regulatory and SOP compliance.
• Collaborate with Study Physicians and Clinical/Project Scientists to provide consolidated data for safety evaluation.
• Drive strategic initiatives, share learnings across programs, and lead cross-functional teams.
