Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Degree: B.Sc. in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong C++ programming skills and embedded software expertise.
• Experience with ARM architectures is required.
• English fluency; Catalan is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software to program 3D smart cameras (frontend and backend C/C++).
• Develop C/C++ on embedded systems such as ARM.
• Integrate 3D sensors and cameras into Cognex In-Sight platform.
• Contribute to shared 3D visualization libraries and platform components.
• Collaborate on design of the new common platform technology for future Cognex products.
• Evolve the 3D visualization library across Cognex 3D products with new features.
• Implement new software features and automated tests for quality.
• Review requirements and provide development estimates.
• Follow established software processes and suggest improvements.
• Participate in planning, design discussions and reviews.
• Share expertise and mentor team members to promote best practices.
• Influence technical growth and contribute to architectural decisions.
