Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space SAU seeks a Landing Gear Engineer to design, specify, model, analyse, qualify and certify landing gear systems for military aircraft. The role covers system, sub-system, equipment and component levels within a multinational program environment.

The candidate will lead cross-disciplinary teams in Madrid/ Getafe, ensuring safety, quality and compliance with program requirements, while coordinating with MAP, manufacturing engineering and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Aeronautical Engineer degree required.
• 10+ years in aeronautical industry.
• 5+ years on C-295 program (military aviation).
• Fluent English required.

Landing Gear Engineer: Design, specify, modelling, analyse, qualify and certify for Landing Gear System, Sub-system, Equipment, Component and Module considering the following factors: Safety, Quality, Systems Performance, Cost, Environmental, Operational and Industrial requirements.

• Fluent English
