Opdenergy in Madrid is seeking a Land Technician to secure and manage land for renewable projects. You will identify acquisition opportunities, negotiate land deals, and lead urban planning procedures in coordination with the Permitting team.

The role requires a degree in Engineering or Law, a plus for Renewable Energy or Urban Planning masters, at least 1 year in PV/wind, strong Excel skills, and fluent English. Hybrid work and health benefits are offered.

• At least 1 year of experience in photovoltaic sector or renewable energy project development.
• High level of English.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Knowledge of cadastral, urban planning and environmental mapping/visualization tools.

Responsabilidades

Opdenergy is a growing independent renewable energy producer (IPP) with presence in Europe, United States and Latin America with more than 19 years’ experience. The company develops, builds, finances, manages and operates high quality renewable energy projects in several countries, with a portfolio of 2,6 GW (1,3 operational and + 1,3 ready to build / under construction) assets in operations and construction, whole portfolio under development sums up to over 18 GW.

Currently, we're looking for a Land Technician to join our team in Spain, and play a key role in securing and managing land for our renewable energy projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Identifying new land acquisition opportunities aligned with the company's development strategy.
• Securing land for photovoltaic and wind energy projects.
• Managing and regularizing contracted land assets.
• Leading urban planning procedures related to project sites in coordination with the Permitting team.
• Reviewing and interpreting local urban planning regulations.
• Assessing project feasibility from both commercial and urban planning perspectives.
• Negotiating land acquisition agreements with landowners.
• Liaising and negotiating with Public Authorities on consultations and required administrative procedures.
• Managing the administrative processes for the Declaration of Public Utility for land designated for photovoltaic or wind farm developments.

What we're looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Law.
• A Master's degree in Renewable Energy or Urban Planning and Land Management is a plus.
• At least 1 years of experience in the photovoltaic sector, preferably in renewable energy project development (solar PV and/or wind).
• High level of English.
• Proficiency in Excel
• Knowledge of cadastral, urban planning, and environmental mapping/visualization tools.
