PQE Group is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support the Physical-Chemical Laboratory in a GMP-regulated environment in Spain. The role focuses on documentation review, analytical method review, analytical events, and deviation management to ensure quality compliance.

The successful candidate will work with Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and other functions, contributing to investigations and continuous improvement initiatives within a multicultural team.

Qualifications

  • Degree or technical qualification in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, or related field.
  • Experience in a Physical-Chemical Laboratory in GMP-regulated environment.
  • Experience with laboratory documentation review and data assessment.
  • Knowledge of GMP, GLP, and Good Documentation Practices.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and review physical-chemical laboratory testing in GMP environment.
  • Review laboratory documentation, analytical results and records for accuracy and compliance.
  • Review and assess analytical methods and procedures for correct implementation.
  • Support investigation of analytical events (AO/OOS) and deviations.
  • Collaborate with QC, QA and other functions to support lab operations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the laboratory.

We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our team in Spain, supporting activities within the Physical-Chemical Laboratory in a GMP-regulated environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting laboratory operations with a particular focus on documentation review, analytical method review, analytical events, and deviation management, ensuring compliance with applicable quality and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Perform and review activities related to physical-chemical laboratory testing in a GMP-regulated environment.
  • Review laboratory documentation, analytical results, and records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable procedures and GMP requirements.
  • Review and assess analytical methods and procedures, ensuring their correct implementation and compliance with established requirements.
  • Support the management and investigation of analytical events (AOs/OOS) and laboratory-related issues.
  • Support the investigation and follow-up of deviations related to laboratory activities.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and GMP requirements.
  • Collaborate with Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and other relevant functions to support laboratory operations and investigations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the laboratory.
Required Qualifications:
  • Degree, technical qualification, or equivalent experience in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, or a related scientific field.
  • Previous experience in a Physical-Chemical Laboratory, preferably within the pharmaceutical or other GMP-regulated industry.
  • Experience with laboratory documentation review and analytical data assessment.
  • Knowledge and experience in reviewing analytical methods and laboratory procedures.
  • Experience supporting analytical events/OOS investigations and deviation management.
  • Good knowledge of GMP, GLP, and Good Documentation Practices.
  • Good level of English is preferred.
  • Fluent Spanish, both written and spoken.
