Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe, Spain, is seeking a Lab Test Means Integration Engineer to be based at Getafe site. You will join a multidisciplinary team to design, build and integrate laboratory test means used across programs of Defense and Space.

The role includes interfaces with external partners, problem solving, and HW/SW integration for test benches, with opportunities to work across aircraft-related projects and travel.

Formación

• Degree in Aeronautical, Telecommunications, Automation & Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Fluent English written and spoken (B2 or higher).
• Ability to communicate with designers, suppliers and stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Electrical / Electronic design of Test Benches from System Architecture.
• Interfacing with external partners and suppliers and communicating with stakeholders in design reviews, test reports and project follow-up meetings.
• Problem Report solving and Change Request implementation.
• HW/SW integration for test benches.
• Test facilities management and maintenance.
• On Site Acceptance tests with customers.

Job Description

A vacancy has arisen for a “Lab Test Means Integration Engineer” within Airbus Defence & Space to be based at Getafe site in Spain.

The successful candidate will join the department and will be integrated into a multidisciplinary team, covering the Design and Build, and Integration of the Laboratory Test Means used by all programs of Defense and Space.

Laboratory Test Means Integration Engineer is an essential role that deals with

The main activities of a Lab Test Means Integration Engineer are

• Electrical / Electronic design of Test Benches from System Architecture.


• Interfacing with external partners and suppliers and communicating with corresponding stakeholders in design reviews, test reports and Project follow-up meetings.


• Problem Report solving and Change Request (modification) implementation.


• HW/SW integration for test benches.


• Test facilities management and maintenance.


• On Site Acceptance test with customers (Internal or External).


• Contribute to test bench validation activities

Required Competences & Skills

• Degree in Aeronautical,Telecommunications, Automation & Electronics Engineering or equivalent.


• Knowledge & high experience in Autocad, Altium designer or other electrical /electronic tools


• Abilities to accept delegation.


• Problem solving and decision making.


• Open minded and active to new challenges.


• Motivated, proactive and team dynamic player.


• Committed in their own development to learn new skills


• Good knowledge of avionic systems; experience with mission systems, data links, or sensors is a plus


• Interest in complex systems and continuous learning in test and systems engineering


• Experience in software testing is beneficial


• Eligibility for security clearance by the relevant authorities is required


• Fluent in Writing and Spoken English (B2 level or higher)

Desired Competencies & Skills

• Knowledge of aircraft systems.


• Knowledge and/or experience in work linked to Aeronautical projects.


• Knowledge of Airbus processes & procedures (SAP, DMS).
