Think Ahead Academy in Madrid is seeking a Mathematics Tutor to provide face-to-face, home-based tuition for students in Years 7 to 9. You will deliver weekly lessons, assess progress and tailor sessions to each student’s needs in central Madrid.

The role requires a strong maths background, tutoring experience with 11–14-year-olds, and excellent English. You will travel to students’ homes, align with the British Key Stage 3 curriculum, and maintain regular communication with Think Ahead Academy.

Formación

• Strong academic background in Mathematics, Engineering, Sciences or related field.
• Tutoring or teaching experience with students aged approx. 11–14.
• Good knowledge of Key Stage 3 / British curriculum Mathematics.
• Excellent level of English; lessons may be delivered in English.
• Ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly, in a structured and engaging way.
• Reliable, professional and committed.
• Availability to travel to students' homes within central Madrid.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver weekly face-to-face Mathematics lessons at the student's home in central Madrid.
• Support students across the Years 7–9 / Key Stage 3 Mathematics curriculum.
• Identify gaps in knowledge and adapt lessons to each student's needs.
• Explain mathematical concepts clearly and help students build confidence and independence.
• Prepare appropriate exercises, materials and homework when required.
• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback.
• Maintain consistent communication with Think Ahead Academy regarding the student's development and any relevant academic needs.
