Puente Romano Beach Resort Marbella, a 5-star luxury property on the Costa del Sol, is seeking a Kitchen Steward / Utility Porter. You will support culinary teams across the resort by cleaning, loading dishwashers, and ensuring stocked, sanitary back-of-house areas.

This role emphasizes hygiene, safety, and efficiency, with rotating shifts including mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends. Ideal candidates have prior kitchen porter or steward experience in luxury settings and strong teamwork.

Formación

• Experience in a similar kitchen porter, steward, or utility role, ideally in luxury hotels or high-end restaurants.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills; ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Availability for rotating shifts including mornings, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Kitchen & Station Cleaning: Clean all kitchen utensils, equipment, walls, hoods, and floors to high standards.
• Dishwashing Operations: Load/unload industrial dishwashers across busy service shifts.
• Hand-Washing Care: Clean delicate or heavy items by hand, including wooden boards, large pots, and chinaware.
• Tableware Storage: Store clean dishes, glassware, and cutlery in designated areas.
• Chemical Stock Tracking: Monitor cleaning supplies and report replenishment needs.
• Safety & Hygiene Compliance: Follow safety and hygiene guidelines at all times.

In this operational role, you will not just perform routine utility tasks. Instead, you will act as a key support pillar and organizational anchor. Specifically, you will work across our resort kitchens to handle dishwashing equipment, sanitize delicate culinary tools, and keep back-of-house areas pristine. You will combine your cleaning expertise with strict adherence to food safety standards. By doing so, you will keep our dining stations fully stocked with clean equipment and support smooth service execution across all resort outlets.

Job Description: Kitchen Steward / Utility Porter

Your Mission: Flawless Sanitation & Back-of-House Operational Support

Your primary goal involves driving back-of-house operational success. To achieve this, you will deliver exceptional utility support. At the same time, you will keep all kitchen zones beautifully aligned with strict resort presentation standards. Therefore, you will manage daily equipment cleaning, load industrial dishwashers, and sanitize delicate cookware by hand. Additionally, you will organize clean tableware in storage and monitor cleaning supply levels. As a result, you will eliminate service delays during peak dining hours and protect our resort’s reputation for luxury excellence.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Kitchen & Station Cleaning: Clean all kitchen utensils, heavy cooking machinery, and workspace installations. Specifically, keep walls, exhaust hoods, and floors pristine and organized.
• Dishwashing Operations: Load and unload industrial dishwashing machines efficiently across busy service shifts.
• Hand-Washing Care: Wash specific delicate or heavy kitchen items by hand. For example, care properly for wooden cutting boards, large stockpots, and fine chinaware.
• Tableware Storage: Store clean dishes, glassware, cutlery, and kitchen equipment accurately in designated storage areas.
• Chemical Stock Tracking: Monitor daily stock levels of cleaning supplies, such as detergents or sanitizers. Consequently, inform supervisors promptly about replenishment needs.
• Safety & Hygiene Compliance: Follow safety protocols, occupational hygiene guidelines, and internal back-of-house standards at all times.
