Job summary

AECOM in Barcelona is seeking a motivated IT graduate to join our telecom, security and control systems team as a Junior Software Implementation consultant (French or German speaking). This entry‑level role offers a strong development path within a multinational environment and exposure to high‑profile infrastructure projects.

• Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in the design or support of electronic security systems within building projects.
• Good level of English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Familiarity with regulations and industry standards for electronic security systems.

**Qualifications**

• Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• **1-2 years of experience** in the design or support of electronic security systems within building projects.
• Basic understanding of CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection Systems, and associated security infrastructure.
• Good level of English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Familiarity with applicable regulations and industry standards related to electronic security systems.
• Interest in security technologies and willingness to learn about vendor solutions and system integration.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Experience with Revit and Visio is a plus.
• Understanding of multidisciplinary project environments and ability to collaborate with Architecture and MEP teams.
• Exposure to telecommunications infrastructure, voice evacuation systems, or building management systems would be advantageous.
• International project exposure is a plus but not required.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and willingness to develop technical expertise.
• Proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to work effectively within a team.
