GMV Madrid is expanding its Commercial Mission Systems division to support the integration, verification and validation of advanced ground systems for satellites. You will work closely with engineers on end-to-end ground infrastructure for NewSpace and institutional missions.

This role offers hands-on experience in systems integration, testing and deployment, with opportunities for collaboration across subsystem teams and on-site customer support in Madrid.

Formación

• Graduates in Telecommunications, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with at least 1 year of experience.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written) and knowledge of Linux, Python and SQL.
• Familiarity with Jira, X-Ray and MS Office is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Support integration, verification and validation of satellite ground systems.
• Collaborate on test plans, procedures and reports at subsystem and system levels.
• Assist deployment, integration and troubleshooting on-site and at customer facilities.
• Contribute to project documentation, test reports and verification matrices.
• Learn ECSS-based engineering methodologies in real space project environments.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

On our team, you will work closely with experienced engineers, gaining hands‑on experience in systems integration, testing, and the deployment of end‑to‑end ground infrastructure for NewSpace and institutional missions.

This position offers a unique opportunity to launch a career in space systems engineering, developing technical skills across multiple domains and directly contributing to the success of real missions, from concept to validation. You will be able to:

• Support the integration, validation, and verification (AIV) of satellite ground systems.
• Collaborate on the execution of test plans, procedures, and reports at the subsystem and system levels.
• Participate in deployment, integration, and troubleshooting activities, both on‑site and at customer facilities.
• Collaborate with subsystem teams to ensure interface validation and functional integration.
• Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of project documentation, including test reports, integration records, and verification matrices.
• Learn and apply ECSS-based engineering and testing methodologies in real‑world space project environments.

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

For this position, we are looking for graduates in Telecommunications, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field with at least 1 year of experience and:

• Knowledge of Linux (shell scripts, Python, SQL)
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, X‑Ray, and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)
