ERNI in Alcoy, Spain, is seeking a junior software engineer to contribute to modern software applications and digital solutions in an international environment.

You will work with Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, Kotlin or Swift, participate in Agile ceremonies, and benefit from mentoring and structured onboarding to accelerate growth.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, Data Science, AI or related fields.
• Knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, Kotlin or Swift.
• Understanding of software development concepts, problem-solving and Agile methodologies.

Responsabilidades

• Support design, development, testing and maintenance of software applications and digital solutions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver web, mobile, AI and automation initiatives within Agile ceremonies.

You will have regular 1:1 meetings with them, and recurrently, you will work on your development plan to define your short-, medium-, and long-term goals.

What you will bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence or related fields.
• Knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, Kotlin or Swift.
• Understanding of software development concepts, problem-solving techniques and Agile methodologies.Strong analytical skills, curiosity for technology and willingness to learn new tools and frameworks.
• Exposure to web, mobile, cloud, AI or automation projects through internships, academic projects, hackathons or personal initiatives.

You will be responsible for supporting the design, development, testing and maintenance of software applications and digital solutions. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver web, mobile, AI and automation initiatives while participating in Agile ceremonies, troubleshooting activities, technical documentation and continuous improvement efforts focused on secure and scalable solutions.

Our model is hybrid: we usually go to the office 2 days a week, though this depends on the project and team, but we love seeing each other’s faces; the best stories always happen in the office!
