Openchip is building new RISC-V chips with security at heart, enabling safer execution of AI workloads. As a Junior Security Software Engineer, you will design security features across the software stack, from firmware to cloud runtimes, and contribute to hardware/software co-design while engaging with the security community.

You will collaborate with firmware, OS, and middleware teams to harden platforms, implement secure boot and cryptographic tooling, and review designs and code with peers.

Formación

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• 1–3 years of experience in security software.
• Solid knowledge about computer architecture (CPU, cache, memory).
• Proficiency in C and Rust for low-level development.
• Knowledge of Git, CI, Jira.
• English level minimum B2.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement security features across Openchip’s software stack from firmware to cloud runtimes.
• Develop and maintain security features for hardware architectures (RISC-V and others).
• Implement secure boot, confidential computing, cryptography, and platform security features.
• Define interfaces to expose security features to applications and leverage standards.
• Collaborate across firmware, OS, and middleware teams to harden platforms.
• Participate in code reviews, bug triaging, and design documents.
