Merkle, a dentsu company, is hiring Java Developers in Barcelona to join agile teams working for major telecoms and media brands. Design, code, and deliver robust backend services using Java/J2EE, TDD/BDD, and RESTful APIs.

You will collaborate with senior engineers, participate in all development phases, and contribute to continuous improvement. The role offers a hybrid work model, Spanish/English lessons, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Formación

• Technical background with a degree in software engineering, computer science or related field.
• Experience with Java/J2EE (1+/2+ years).
• Knowledge of OO design and programming is a plus.
• Excellent teamwork and English language skills.
• EU work permission and experience in Agile environments (Scrum).
• Experience developing RESTful Web Services; familiarity with SQL/Oracle.

Responsabilidades

• Design and code Java backend applications using a test-driven development approach.
• Focus on code quality through refactoring, testing and clean code.
• Participate in all development phases from analysis to delivery.
• Deliver value to the business in every sprint.
• Translate high-level requirements into technical design and contribute to team processes.
• Support consumers of the team's components.
