GMV Spain is expanding its IT Infrastructure team in the Space sector. You will help maintain the infrastructure for GSP projects, reporting to the head of IT Infrastructure in Ground Segment Programs.

Your role includes ensuring the reliability of network, hardware, systems and services, and troubleshooting diverse issues across technologies. We value a track record in network device management, Linux/Windows environments, virtualization, scripting and containerization.

Formación

• Network device management: routers, firewalls, switches.
• Linux/Windows environments experience.
• Virtualization systems knowledge: VMware, Citrix.
• Scripting: Bash, Perl, Python, VBScript, or PowerShell.
• Containerization: Docker, Proxmox, OpenStack.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

As part of our team, you will help maintain the infrastructure for projects in the Space sector.

In this position, which reports to the head of the IT Infrastructure section of GSP (Ground Segment Programs), you will be responsible for:

• Maintaining the infrastructure (network, hardware, systems, applications, and services) for GSP projects.
• Troubleshooting issues that affect various systems and technologies.

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

For this position, we are looking for candidates who want a stable environment in which to grow, with a proven track record and experience in:

• Network device management: routers, firewalls, switches.
• Linux/Windows.
• Knowledge of virtualization systems: VMware, Citrix.
• Scripting: Bash, Perl, Python, VBScript, or PowerShell.
• Experience with containerization: Docker, Proxmox, OpenStack.

We will also value knowledge of:

• Penetration testing and vulnerability attacks.
• Basic cybersecurity concepts: secure networks, IDS/IPS, firewalls, etc.
