Job summary

Axpo Group is seeking an experienced finance professional to drive the biomethane investment process. You will model assets, refine valuation tools, and translate technical assumptions into decision-ready outputs.

You will prepare information for internal boards and support due-diligence for transactions. The role emphasizes collaboration with Operations, Construction, Asset Management and corporate functions to align investment assumptions with real-world operations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in General Management, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in investment analysis, corporate finance, M&A, infra investing or consulting.
• Strong financial modelling and valuation skills (DCF, scenarios, sensitivity).
• Advanced Excel skills and building scalable financial tools.
• Structured, analytical thinker with clear cross-functional communication.
• ideally CFA qualified or progressing towards CFA.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain and review financial models for biomethane assets (DCF, scenarios, sensitivities).
• Develop valuation tools, modelling templates and frameworks used in investment process.
• Translate commercial/technical assumptions into clear valuation outputs.
• Prepare Management Information and investment materials for boards.
• Support due-diligence prep, data-room analysis and synthesis for transactions.
• Collaborate with Operations, Asset Management, and corporate functions to align investment assumptions with realities.
