AECOM is hiring a Junior Hydraulics & Drainage Engineer to join our Madrid team, delivering assessments, concepts, feasibility studies, and detailed designs for water and transportation programs. You will work with public and private clients and gain exposure to major infrastructure projects around the world.

Requirements include at least 2 years in hydraulic and drainage design, strong Civil 3D skills, and fluent English.

Formación

• At least 2 years of experience in hydraulic and drainage design, infrastructure networks, or related engineering projects.
• Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D, including pipeline alignments, profiles, cross-sections, grading, and surface modelling.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken, with the confidence to collaborate within multicultural and international project teams.
• Exposure to hydraulic and hydrological modelling tools such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, StormCAD, InfoWorks ICM, OpenRoads Designer, or 12d; willingness to learn new tools.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with experienced designers and engineers in the delivery of drainage, stormwater, sewer, and potable water network projects.
• Develop network designs, technical drawings, and engineering models using Civil 3D and design tools.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks while collaborating within a supportive team and following established methodologies.
• Ensure quality through self-checks and participate in peer reviews.
