DSM-FIRMENICH in Barcelona seeks a Junior Accountant to support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, while assisting data analysis and close processes.

Under supervision, you will work with the finance team on intercompany transactions, balance sheet reconciliations, and ERP data extraction to streamline accounting records.

You should have an accounting degree, 1–2 years of experience, and proficiency in SAP, SAP BPC, BW and MS Office; fluent English is required.

Formación

• Degree in Accounting.
• 1–2 years in accounting within an International Industrial Group or Big Four.
• Experience with SAP, SAP BPC and BW.
• Accurate with figures and meeting deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); other European languages are a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access).

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support analysis of financial data and identification of trends and variances.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Follow-up on Intercompany transactions.
• Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts under supervision.
• Collaborate with business controllers on expense reporting.
• Maintain financial records and supporting documentation for internal control.
• Extract and analyze data from ERP systems and transform into predefined Excel formats.
• Assist and support on new customer creation.
• Assist and support on internal sales processes.
• Backup for FC&A colleague.
