Frekuent is seeking a Junior Support Engineer to join the Devices team in Barcelona. You will validate firmware and APK releases, analyze logs, and assist with support escalations while collaborating with QA and engineering.

This hands-on role spans firmware, Android APK, apps, and OS layers, involving real devices and field installations. The ideal candidate holds a degree in electronics or related hardware field, is comfortable with hardware fundamentals, and speaks English and Spanish.

Formación

• Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related hardware field.
• Comfortable with hardware fundamentals and logs.
• Detail-oriented with strong bug reproduction.
• Basic scripting ability (Python or Bash).
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Manually validate firmware and APK releases, defining and running test cases.
• Support test automation initiatives and validate results.
• Serve as first technical contact for support escalations and document tickets.
• Analyze device and application logs to diagnose field issues.
• Build and improve internal tooling for faster diagnostics.
• Support advanced installations, pilots, and client integrations.
• Maintain documentation of known issues and troubleshooting guides.
