Leadtech is seeking a Junior Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize our data infrastructure on Databricks and GCP. You will architect pipelines using BigQuery, Google Cloud Storage, Airflow, dbt, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub, ensuring high availability and cost-conscious ETL/ELT processes.

You will collaborate with Analytics, Product, and Data Science teams to deliver reliable datasets for dashboards and experimentation, while growing into ownership of larger data platform components over time.

Formación

• 1 year of experience in data engineering or related data role.
• Experience with GCP services such as BigQuery and Google Cloud Storage.
• Familiarity with Apache Airflow for scheduling and orchestrating data workflows.
• Some experience with dbt or similar transformation tools.
• Exposure to Pub/Sub, Dataflow, or other batch/streaming tools.
• Understanding of Data Mart concepts and Infrastructure as Code like Terraform.

Responsabilidades

• Data Architecture: Support development and maintenance of data platform on GCP, including warehousing in BigQuery/Databricks and data lake storage in Google Cloud Storage.
• Pipeline Development & Orchestration: Build and improve ETL/ELT pipelines with Airflow; develop dbt transformations and data models in BigQuery.
• Data Quality, Governance & Security: Implement data quality checks and document datasets, metadata, lineage, and audit processes; enforce security best practices.
• Scientists & Analytics Enablement: Collaborate with Analytics, Product, and Data Science to provide reliable datasets for dashboards and ML use cases.
