DEKRA Digital & Product Solutions is seeking an junior/early-career professional to join the Cybersecurity Laboratory in a hybrid role based in Spain (Alcobendas/Málaga). You will learn how security components are evaluated, read standards, and perform practical testing and reporting on cryptographic modules.

Formación

• Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
• Basic understanding of cryptography including symmetric/asymmetric encryption, hashing and digital signatures.
• Programming or scripting experience; Python and/or C/C++ are relevant.
• Ability to approach problems systematically and explain reasoning.
• English reading/writing of technical standards and discussions.
• Attention to detail and collaborative attitude.

Responsabilidades

• Review technical documentation, product architecture and relevant source code to understand cryptographic module design and operation.
• Translate security requirements into test activities using laboratory procedures and tools.
• Set up test environments, execute tests and investigate unexpected results.
• Support cryptographic algorithm testing and develop/adapt scripts for automation and analysis.
• Identify gaps between implementation, documentation and requirements.
• Prepare traceable test records and technical reports; assist with validation submissions and review responses.
