Fidelity Information Services (Iberia), S.L. in Madrid invites applications for a Junior Consultant - Financial Risk. The role blends risk management theory with practical IT implementation, offering extensive training and exposure to diverse financial software projects.

You will work closely with a cross-functional team to analyze client needs, participate in software development and post-implementation support, and expand responsibilities as you grow in the role.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Banking & Finance (or equivalent).
• Fluency in Spanish (C1) and English; additional languages a plus.
• Analytical mindset with strong communication and teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Apply knowledge in risk management and financial economics to real-world situations.
• Benefit from a comprehensive training program and work with experienced colleagues.
• Familiarise with FIS software, clients, and challenges in development and post-implementation support.
• Act as key interface between Software Development, Sales, and Product Management.
• Provide technical and functional support and training for consultants.
• As experience grows, assist with business analysis, test strategy, and solution design.

Your Responsibilities

• Apply the knowledge gained during your studies in the fields of risk management and financial economics to real-world situations.

• Become familiar with our software, our clients, and the wide variety of technical and functional challenges that can arise during software development, implementation projects, and post-implementation support.
• Act as a key interface between Software Development, Sales, and Product Management, supporting all customer-related matters.

• Providing technical and functional support as well as training for consultants.
• As your experience grows, your responsibilities may expand to include:
  • Supporting our software development process, from business analysis through testing.
  • Defining and implementing test strategies based on a solid understanding of our clients’ needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Banking & Finance (or an equivalent field).
• Fluency in Spanish (minimum C1) and English; additional language skills are considered an advantage.
• Analytical team player with excellent organizational and self-management skills.
• Dynamic personality with strong intellectual curiosity and creativity.
• Ability to quickly understand complex problems, think independently, and propose innovative approaches to problem-solving when appropriate.
