Job summary

Forvis Mazars in Barcelona is seeking a Junior Auditor to join its Center of Excellence, contributing to audit engagements for Swiss and international clients while building technical expertise in IFRS and Swiss GAAP FER.

You will work with cross-border teams, prepare working papers and client deliverables, and participate in a structured audit approach. Fluency in English is essential, German is a plus, and a relevant degree with audit experience will help you succeed.

Qualifications

• University or business school studies in audit, finance or accounting.
• At least two years of experience in external audit in a well-structured firm.
• Good knowledge of audit and accounting fundamentals; IFRS knowledge is an asset.
• Excellent analytical and synthesis skills.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills; able to work in a demanding environment.
• Proactive, curious and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Participate in audit engagements for Swiss and international clients under IFRS and Swiss GAAP FER.
• Contribute to audit procedures, including testing, analyses and documentation.
• Prepare working papers, analyses and initial summaries for onshore teams.
• Assist in preparing client deliverables, including reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with audit teams based in Switzerland in an international environment.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement.
