Aviation Island, a consultancy in the aviation sector, seeks an Aerospace Engineer to join the Airworthiness Department in Mallorca. You will work with engineers and technicians, reporting to the Engineering Manager, to support airworthiness tasks and maintenance programs.

Ideal candidates are fluent in English, methodical, and globally mobile. Prior experience is optional but beneficial, and a valid EU residence/work permit is required for applicability.

Formación

• Must have an Aerospace Engineer degree.
• Fluent in English.
• EU residence and work permit to apply.
• Self-disciplined and methodical.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins.
• Develop Aircraft Maintenance Programs.
• Evaluate and control structural repairs.
• Audit technical records and airworthiness status.
• Update Maintenance Information Systems with technical data.
• Evaluate Non-OEM modifications.
• Attend Phase in or Phase out projects and assist as needed.

Aviation Island is a consultancy firm in the aviation business.

We are mainly focused in aviation maintenance, CAMO management, aircraft redeliveries and engineering services in general that can be provided to aviation companies or other customers in the field.

Tasks

The selected candidate will perform his duties at the Airworthiness Department, within a team of engineers and technical personnel and reporting directly to the Engineer Manager. The main responsibilities will consist of:

• Evaluation of Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins.
• Development of Aircraft Maintenance Programs.
• Evaluation and control of structural repairs.
• Audit technical records and airworthiness status.
• Update Maintenance Information Systems with technical data.
• Evaluation of Non-OEM modifications.
• Attend when available, Phase in or Phase out projects, collaborating and helping when required.

Requirements

Aerospace Engineer degree is a MUST.

• Fluent in English.
• Self disciplined and methodical person.
• Prior experience in the area is NOT REQUIRED but will be taken into account.
• EU Residence and permit to work before applying

Valuable Experience:

• Experience in aviation and aviation maintenance in general.
• Experience working within a CAMO and specifically Technical Records department.
• Good skills with AMOS software.
• Good skills with Excel as well as computer literacy.
• Driving license and owner of a vehicle.
• Live in Palma de Mallorca or nearby.
• Availability for travel
