Aviation Island in Barcelona is a consultancy firm specializing in aviation maintenance, CAMO management, and related engineering services. We are seeking an Aerospace Engineer to join the Technical Records team and work under the Office Manager.

The role emphasizes thorough records and compliance in a dynamic aviation environment. The successful candidate will handle maintenance records, engage with CAMO and Engineering teams, and support Phase in/out projects.

Formación

• Aerospace Engineer degree is a MUST.
• Fluent in English.
• EU residence and work permit required before applying.
• Prior experience not required but will be taken into account.

Responsabilidades

• Reception, revision, and closing in the system (AMOS software) all the maintenance jobs performed by the MRO.
• Manage and process base maintenance checks and perform records review to ensure that proper standards and company policies are met.
• Revise and close all major checks received in digital, and update the system with relevant info (component changes, SBs).
• Claim and follow up on discrepancies generated over the process (documental discrepancies or missing documents).
• Give support and feedback to other departments, such as CAMO, Engineering.
• Attend when available, Phase in or Phase out projects, collaborating and helping when required.

Aviation Island is a consultancy firm in the aviation business.

We are mainly focused in aviation maintenance, CAMO management, aircraft

redeliveries and engineering services in general that can be provided to aviation companies or other customers in the field.

Tasks

The selected candidate will perform his duties at the Technical

Records department, within a team of engineers and technical personnel

and reporting directly to the Office Manager. The main responsibilities

will consist of:

• Reception, revision, and closing in the system (AMOS software) all the maintenance jobs performed by the MRO.
• Manage and process base maintenance checks and perform records review to ensure that the proper standards and company policies are met.
• Revise and close all major checks received in digital, as well as update the system with relevant info (component changes, SBs..)
• Claim and follow up on discrepancies generated over the process (documental discrepancies or missing documents)
• Give support and feedback to other departments, such as CAMO, Engineering..
• Attend when available, Phase in or Phase out projects, collaborating and helping when required.

Requirements

Aerospace Engineer degree is a MUST.

• Fluent in English.
• Self disciplined and methodical person.
• Prior experience in the area is NOT REQUIRED but will be taken into account.
• EU Residence and permit to work before applying

Valuable Experience:

• Experience in aviation and aviation maintenance in general.
• Experience working within a CAMO and specifically Technical Records department.
• Good skills with AMOS software.
• Good skills with Excel as well as computer literacy.
• Driving license and owner of a vehicle.
• Live in Barcelona or nearby.
• Availability for travel
