Visium is seeking candidates in Barcelona for roles within our platform engineering team. The responsibilities include designing cloud-native platforms, building data pipelines, and developing software solutions. Ideal candidates should have strong experience in data/cloud engineering or software development, familiarity with Azure and modern data infrastructure, and hands-on experience with ETL processes. Formación

• Strong experience in data engineering, cloud engineering, or software development.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and modern data infrastructure.
• Familiarity with data modelling, architecture, and platform design.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehouses, or lakehouses.
• Knowledge of containerization, orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines.

You will be involved in:

• Designing and implementing cloud‑native platforms and infrastructure
• Building data pipelines, warehouses, and lakehouses for AI pipelines
• Developing software solutions that interact with or leverage platform capabilities
• Defining data models and architecture standards for consistency and scalability
• Ensuring security, reliability, and maintainability of all platform components

Requirements

Primary requirements include:

• Strong experience in data engineering, cloud engineering, or software development
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and modern data infrastructure
• Familiarity with data modelling, architecture, and platform design
• Hands‑on experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehouses, or lakehouses
• Knowledge of containerization, orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem‑solving skills and an ownership mindset
